
Singapore Sketchers’ second play event was a resounding success! Held at The Pod, the event featured eight talented artists, each hosting their own table across four sessions: two in the morning and two in the afternoon. The event was a sell-out, with all tickets snapped up quickly. Attendees had a fantastic time learning from and interacting with other Singapore sketchers.


Whee Teck announced the official launch of the Singapore Sketchers website. This online platform serves as a hub for the sketching community, offering resources, events, and more.

Thain Lin, the chair for the day, juggled administrative duties with his passion for sketching. Despite his busy schedule for the day, he couldn't resist the urge to capture a few moments on paper, proving that sketching is truly a part of who he is.

James Leong showcased his expertise in drawing figures and actions during a demonstration.

Don Low shared valuable sketching tips during the workshop. The photo captures him in action, demonstrating his techniques.

Alice Lim is renowned for her shopfront sketches. In this photo, you can see her sharing her knowledge with others.

Susan Olij captivated her audience with her passion for sketching and expert techniques. Surrounded by eager learners, she demonstrated her skills with some hands-on demo.

Mike Tan was the most sought-after instructor of the day, attracting a large crowd. Here he is pictured with fellow instructor Susan Olij.

A successful workshop concluded with a group photo featuring the instructors, assistants, and our partner from NLB, Yu Xiang (far left). This photo was taken during the afternoon session. James Lim (fourth from the right) was the other instructor for the day. The workshop was a resounding success, receiving positive feedback from all participants.
